Patriot Patrol

My name is Rachel McDowell and this is my 4th year as School Counselor at Lakeside Primary. I love working with all of our Bucks in a variety of different ways. 

The Patriot Patrol, or Flag, is a great opportunity for our 4th and 5th grade students with military affiliation to hoist the American flag each day.  These students learn about the history of the flag and how to properly handle the flag from the St. Amant ROTC. They are put in a rotation and  charged with the daily task of raising and lowering the flag. Our Patriot Patrol students and families take great pride in this club and always do a great job.
